BIOGRAPHY
DENA KENNEDY
My videography and photography career began with a Masters Degree in Screen Production from Auckland University, led by Award Winning and Emmy nominated teachers. I graduated with First Class Honours.
From here I went into production on feature films, climbing the ladder from Production Runner to Associate Producer within five years.
During this time I continued to upskill in videography & photography. From 2010 until today I've worked on a project by project basis as an end to end content creator for web and social media.
The times are changing quickly - video and photo practitioners these days need to invest in gear and new modes of storytelling. With this in mind, I have a full kit including a drone and gimbal, and a state of the art edit suite to create video and photo content with a fast turnaround at the highest quality.

EDUCATION / AWARDS
I completed my Masters Degree in Screen Production with First Class honours, receiving the prestigious Auckland Blues Award for outstanding achievement in 2010. I won the Geoff Evans Award for Excellence in 2010 for my short film Joy.
I completed the Leadership NZ programme in 2014 which is designed to build authentic leaders across a range of business and disciplines, and I continue to learn on a daily basis to stay up to date with current trends and practices.
